While visiting the Park, be sure to take some time to relax aboard one of our scenic boat tours. With 3 vessels operating in the park there is ample opportunity for sight-seeing from the vantage of the water.
While taking in the sights, enjoy informative dissertations of life along the canal. Feel free to ask questions and share knowledge of the Erie Canal.
Historic Canal Boat Rides aboard our turn of the century excursion boat, the Ontario, and a pontoon boat, the Camilus Erie (wheelchair accessible), are entertaining as well as educational with music and historic narration available. These trips are approximatly 2 miles (45minutes) round trip with an optional short walk to the historic Nine Mile Creek Aqueduct. The 1844 Nine Mile Creek aqueduct reconstruction is now completed.
Dinner Cruises leave from DeVoe Road aboard the spacious Otisco (wheelchair accessible). While enjoying this senic cruise, you'll be served a delicious meal of Prime Rib (alternate menus available upon request with your reservation). This cruise will travel from Sims Store towards route 173 and back, passing over the Aqueduct. Your comfort and enjoyment are our primary concern so we recommend you bring a jacket or sweater.
