WELCOME 2022 SEASON AT THE ERIE CANAL. THERE ARE ALWAYS INTERESTING THINGS TO SEE AND DO HERE AND WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AGAIN.

(Special "Collector" Boat Cruise Coupons make a wonderful gift for any occasion and are available for purchase to be used during the boating season.)

(The NY FORWARD SAFETY PLAN is in effect, which includes practicing social distancing while visiting the museum and gift shop.)

Nestled between Nine Mile Creek and a wooded hillside near Camillus, New York you will find the Liz and Dave Beebe Camillus Erie Canal Park.

Established is 1972, the Park is part of the Town of Camillus Park
system. We are a highly utilized, established park on site of the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor Upstate New York, which encompasses the multi-use Empire State Trail. When completed, it wil run from Long Island, north to the northern tip of Lake Champlain and east to west from Albany to Buffalo.

Offering our visitors a variety of informational and entertaining
options ranging from over 14 miles of scenic wooded paths and
walkways for hiking, biking and walking man's best friend. There are boat rides (See Boat Tours) along the historic Erie Canal over the only restored navigable aqueduct in the state! The Park is the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll.

Our main museum has two floors with a lift. Sims' Store Museum, combines the old-fashioned charm of a canal store complete with a quaint gift shop, exhibits, early photos, an exquiste "must-see" mural, maps of the canal with models of locks, aqueducts and canal boats.

The Steam Engine Exhibit is a truly unique opportunity to see a fully restored, turn-of-the-century steam powered Corliss Engine power plant and learn about the technology that was “hot” during the industrial revolution of America.

As long as you are taking in all that the Park has to offer, why not ask how we can help host your next group gathering in one of our spacious pavilions or aboard one of our four tour boats.

We look forward to your visit!
